DC Craft Mafia's Spring Thing!

Come see us this weekend at DC Craft Mafia's Spring Thing, an awesome event featuring 40 arts and crafts vendors from the DC/Baltimore area.  Food will be available for purchase, and I hear there may even be some live music, too.  This show was so much fun last year, and it looks like the weather is going to be beautiful for us again.  Don't miss it!

I got a total surprise this month at Clover Market when a customer who had previously purchased tea towels from me came up to the booth and was wearing a bag she had made using one of the towels!  How awesome is this woman?!  She was even nice enough to let me photograph her. : )

Underwater Photography

I am in love with Kanao Zimmerman's Free Dive series.  These images, taken from a distant set of islands in Northeast Fiji, are so beautiful; divers suspended in space and time, with only an abyss of gray tones to let the eye know what is what.  They could almost be stills from a 60's sci-fi movie, which only makes me love them more.  Available for purchase from Mollusk Surf Shop.
